Jason Workman is a writer and maker of artist books. Workman has written on subjects including parasitic and illegal architecture, subversive play and contemporary art. His essays, articles, short stories and narrative verse have been published in periodicals and literary magazines in the UK (Third Text), Australia (Un Magazine, Architect Victoria), Canada (Drain Mag) and the USA (The Esthetic Apostle, The Lost Sparrow).
Workman’s artist books are in various collections, including Yale University, New Haven Connecticut, University of California, Berkeley Environmental Design Library. Born in New Zealand, Workman has also lived in Australia, and the USA. He currently lives and works in Hamilton, New Zealand.
